MEDILAW PROVIDES INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS AND CLEAR IMPARTIAL MEDICO LEGAL REPORTS

SIT UP STRAIGHT, IT’S TIME FOR A VISIT FROM THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Have you ever engaged the services of an Occupational Therapist for a medico-legal assessment?

Are you uncertain how their skills can be used to assist the medical/legal expert team?

Join us in July for Breakfast with Ms Anne White as she discusses how the skills of Occupational Therapists can be employed during the medico legal assessment process. Ms White’s presentation will concern,

  • The assessment tools Occupational Therapists select, and what they are looking for
  • How Occupation Therapists establish their opinion on future function
  • How our opinion can be used to assist the medical/legal expert team

Case examples will be incorporated to demonstrate how therapists add value to the understanding of the injury/illness and the impact on the claimant’s function.

To encourage a dynamic Q & A seminar we invite you to submit questions for Ms White’s consideration when preparing her presentation.

Do you have a question regarding what or how an occupational therapist adds value or undertakes their assessments/gathers their opinion?

Do you have a current/past case that you would like comment on?

Please forward questions to, questions@medilaw.com.au or insert on the registration form.
