Summary
Dr Anthony Wilson was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1983. He then completed his Orthopaedic training and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1994 and became a fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 1998. He completed fellowships in General Orthopaedics at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (Brisbane), Foot Surgery at the Addenbrookes Hospital (Cambridge,UK), and Knee Surgery at the Queens Medical Centre (Nottingham,UK). He has also been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland since 1997.
Currently, Dr Wilson is a visiting specialist at St Andrew’ss and St Vincent’ss Hospitals in Toowoomba. He holds numerous board positions including seats at the Q-Comp Orthopaedic Assessment Tribunal since 2004 and the AOA Regional Training Committee.
Dr Wilson is able to assess all orthopaedic conditions, in particular the lower limb. His assessment specialities include the knee, ankle and foot.
