Summary
Dr Stabler is a specialist Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in all aspects of diagnostic and
operative Orthopaedic Surgery. He has worked in both public and private sectors in all aspects of trauma, microsurgery,
joint replacement and nerve surgery involving the Upper limb.
He has presented widely at Scientific meetings and has also been a Convenor of National Scientific meetings. He has had
many senior leadership roles in the Queensland and Australian Orthopaedic Associations and the Queensland and
Australian Hand Surgery Societies.
For three years Dr Stabler was responsible for national governance of all International Medical Graduates who wished to
practice Orthopaedic surgery in Australia. Dr Stabler has a keen interest in ongoing Orthopaedic education and a strong
commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in relation to Orthopaedic Surgery.
