Summary
Dr Amanda White is a dually trained Forensic Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive training and experience in the preparation of forensic psychological and neuropsychological expert reports. She is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments of cognitive, behavioral, and psychological impairments associated with a range of conditions, including acquired brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, psychological and psychiatric illness, developmental disorders, neurological conditions, intellectual disability, drug and alcohol issues, and forensic matters including risk assessment.
Dr. White has extensive experience conducting inpatient and outpatient clinical neuropsychological assessments in NSW hospitals. Her PhD research focused on capacity assessments and fitness to stand trial assessments, and as part of her research, she consulted with international experts, lawyers, and policy makers. She has published papers in international journals and worked as a peer reviewer for an international journal. Dr. White has appeared as an expert witness in the NSW courts and various tribunals. She is also an MAA approved assessor for the evaluation of whole person impairment. Currently, Dr. White is a Casual Lecturer in the College of Professional Psychology and the Master of Forensic Psychology at the University of New South Wales. She is also the Director of Neuropsychological and Forensic Services Pty Ltd, where she provides psychological and clinical neuropsychological
assessments for expert court reports in both civil and criminal matters, conducts clinical neuropsychological assessments for private clinical patients, and conducts forensic assessments and risk evaluations for forensic patients.
