Dr Matthew Hislop is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician who currently works from his own private practice in Brisbane, Queensland.
Dr Hislop began his education at the University of Queensland where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1997 and also studied at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland where he completed his Masters Thesis on Exertional leg pain.
Dr Hislop’ss career has provided him with varied and extensive experience in many different sporting industries, he currently is the Medical director for the Brisbane International Tennis Competition and the Queensland State of Origin team doctor. Previously Dr Hislop has worked as Team Physician for a number of Sporting teams including; Brisbane Broncos NRL, Brisbane Roar A-League and the Australian Rugby Union Academy to name a few.
Dr Hislops professional interests include Musculoskeletal Injury Assessment, Injury Rehabilitation and Exertional Leg Pain but he is happy to assess any injury related to his profession.
