Summary
Dr Michael Lucas graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1984. In 2000 he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, gained a Fellowship with Sports Doctors Australia and also completed a Master of Occupation Health and Safety. Dr Lucas gained his Licentiateship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (LFOM) with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2004. He became a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2005. He obtained his PhD undertaking injury research in 2012.
Dr Lucas is a Certified Medical Review Officer with the Australian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA) and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner with the American Board of Independent Examiners (ABIME).
