Dr. Scarlett is a graduate of the University of Sydney (1980), a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (1986) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (1992). His extensive experience includes public hospital service and private practice in the United Kingdom, New South Wales, Victoria and, since 1995, Queensland.
As a highly experienced practitioner in all areas of General Surgery Dr. Scarlett has provided medicolegal assessments for 20 years. He is a life member of the Medicolegal Society of Queensland and is a member of the Queensland Workcover Medical Advisor Panel. He is accredited in AMA5 Impairment Assessment GEPI assessment and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner.
